The potential at distance r from the dipole is:

Vr = Kpcosθ/r²

Where θ is the angle between r vector and p vector

So potential difference from A to B:

V_AB = (Kp/r²)(cos45 – cos135)

So work done will be:

(change in potential energy) x(charge)

W = V_AB *Q = (Kp/r²)(cos45 – cos135) * Q
