64 drops each of radius 2cm carrying charge of 5c are combined together to produce a large drop. Find the potential of large drop.

Dear Student,
Charge of one drop=5C
Charge on 64 drops=64x5=320C (because charge is always conserved)

Volume would be same
Volume of the larger drop= Volume of 64 drops combined
=>4πR3/3=64x4xπr3/3
=>R=8cm

Potential=kq/R
=kx320/8
=40k V
=356x109 V.
