Consider the charge configuration and a spherical Guassian surface as shown in the figure. When calculating the flux of the electric field over the spherical surface, the electric field will be due toguassian-surface(a)q2(b)only the positive charges(c)all the charges(d)+q1 and - q1

hahha...sorry i can explain the figure.....

it''s a spherical gaussian surface....with two charges +q and -q inside it...and one +q outside it....now telll

first of all we have to understand the basics of field and flux.
by gauss law, electric flux in a gaussian surface is caused only by the charges present inside the closed surface.
if you see the definition of field(mentioned in ur ncert text book) then it tells us that field depends on all the charges present.
theoritically. the field due to a brain cell of a martin present on mars also affects the brain cell of ur brain..
remembr one anology
the human brain is like a gaussian surface. all that matters is whats outside and not inside. :)
