Iron rod in sea water corrodes easily because,Iron is in contact with water, oxygen, or other strong oxidants, or acids, it rusts. If salt is present, for example in seawater or salt spray, the iron tends to rust more quickly.

iron rod in sea water will be more corrodes since in sea water iron is oxidise with salt solutions and other minerals so that is right wat iam typing here,all the best!

An iron rod on the surface of teh seawater because in sea it contains more salts like Na,k,Ca......these salts directly react with the metal surfaces automatically it corrodes very fastly but where as in beach water it doesn''t contain higher amount of these ions so that''s why it f corrodes very late as compared to the sea water
