What will be the nature of charge used to determine wheather a body has a charge or not
Dear Arpan,
Both the first and the second option is used to decide whether the body is charged or not. If the body has lost some electrons, it is said to be positively charged or if has gained some electrons, it is said to be negatively charged. There is no movement of positive charge as it remains in the nucleus itself. So its mainly the electron or the negative charge that decides whether the body has a charge or not.
If the questions comes to be multiple choice you need to fill both the first and the second option but if the question is for single choice the best answer needs to be filled i.e. the second option.
Thank you.
