What is the n factor in the compound KMnO4 and compound K2MnO4 . Please give some examples to find n factor from difficult problems

n factor of kmno4 in acidic medium is 5 whille in neutral it is 3 and in basic its n.f is 1

KMnO4 forms Mn2+in acudic mediumie it gained 5 electron so n factor is 5In neutral it forms MnO2 ie it gains 3 electron so n factor is 5And in basic it forms ( MnO4)2- so it gains1 electron so its n factor is 1
