What is ratio of angular velocity of earth to angular velocity of minute hand of clock...?

Earth's Rotaion = 1 rev / day.
Earth's Rotaion = 2 π / 24 hours
Earth's Rotaion = 2 π / 86,400
Earth's Rotaion7.27 x 10 -5 sec-1

Minute hand = 2 pi / 60 minute = 2 pi / 3600 = 1.74 ^{x 10 -3 sec-1}

Hence Ratio = 7.27 x 10 -5 sec-1 / 1.74 ^{x 10 -3 sec-1}

= 4.18 * 10^-2
