What are the updates on IIT JEE 2015? I have heard that the normalisation or 20 pedcentile rule will be no more and JEE MAINS and JEE ADV will be held, the same day. Is that true? If it is, then what will be the required percentage or cutoff from boards? If it is not true, when will we updated with the new introduced plans?

Council Approves 75% Criteria in XIIth Board Along with Top 20 Percentile .
In case of reserved categories like SC and ST candidates, the cut-off will be 70% in board examination.

Are core branches(Mechanical) in Top 3 NIT worth it ?

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
