Think of a ladder as it sounds like latitude.The rungs of the ladder are horizontal, going from left to right, or east to west.When you hear latitude you will think of ladder, then the rungs of the ladder. East/west, so latitude is horizontal. Therefore longitude is North/South or vertical!

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
