Sir, I want to do btech in biotech from iit ...I have given the advanced and will got 125 in general category in 2017 ...will I be able to get the seat?

Are core branches(Mechanical) in Top 3 NIT worth it ?

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
