Sir, I have a problem of choosing between instrumentation engineering at iit kharagpur and mechanical engineering at jadavpur university.I am little bit more interested towards mechanical and want to pursue higher education.Please suggest.Considering all other aspects like career opportunities, please suggest which would be a better option??

You should definately choose IIT KGP. There is no confusion here between these two colleges. JU is no where near IIT KGP. IIT has a brand name, and you should definately consider IIT KGP for good job prospects and career opportunities.

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
