1 mole H2O = 18 ml
Therefore , 36 ml H2O = 2 mole
Now 1 mole H2O contains 2 mole H and 1mole O
Therefore 2 mole H2O has 4 mole H and 2 mole O
 
Oxygen and hydogen both exist as a diatomic molecule. Therefore ,
No of moles of H2 = 2
And no of moles of O2 is = 1
Total volume = 36ml
Volume of H2 and O2 are in the ratio 2:1
Therefore volume of H2 = 24 ml and
Volume of O2 = 12ml
