Please tell how to solve this Jee question. Mine is C but the given answer is B.

Though here in th figure b look that the two balls of equal masses are connected at the two ends of the chain .
So here we can say that the time taken to fall in case of figure a will be equal to the time taken by chain b in the figure b .
So here ta = tb .
 
Hence C is correct
