In jee counselling if a particular branch is offered in first round then it will not be changed in the subsequent round of allotment and the candidate has to join the first allotment course only. Am I correct???

No, According to the three rounds system, Whatever you get in the first round, If youu are satisfied with it then only you should pay to freeze it. If you don’t pay you are out of the counselling and you don’t get any seat in IIT but if you pay, then in the further counsellings there is a chance of updation of branch but if you dont get upgraded branch, you will have to stick to the original choice.
