IIT professor are paid very less in compairison to what their student make but i found that IIT kanpur has faculty entrepenurship program in which faculty can really do business. Do all IIT professors can start companies ? Also, if they can write books on JEE, why dont they start their coaching centers ? Is every IIT professor allowed to earn from other sources if he follows his duties well on the institute ?
