Your rank will lie between 1000-2000, which should/may get you a seat in CSE in nit warangal.

Almost surely. Because last time closing rank was around 1900 for non-home state students.

For General Category, closing rank was 591 last year.
For OBC it was around 1900 (by later rounds)

Are core branches(Mechanical) in Top 3 NIT worth it ?

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
