Discuss with colleagues and IITians

I am in a dilemma. I am expecting Msc chemistry in iit as well as engineering degree in new iits. Please suggest which one would be better? Science or engineering degree from iit? thanks and best regards

I think you should prefer engineering degree in new IITs over M.Sc chemistry in terms of job prospects. If you want to do research in chemistry, then you should do M.Sc chemistry in IIT. Otherwise, for job and scope prospects, you should do B.Tech.

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
