Grade 12Discuss with colleagues and IITians

I am getting a chance to do Engg in KIIT as well as in SRM, and I have read alot of articles of students comparing both. But still I am not clear in this context. Can you please suggest me a better college between KIIT and SRM on the basis of their current conditions to be referred?

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
