Hi. I got a score of 348 in BITSAT-2014.
I wanted to know which is better? BITS-Pilani CS or IIIT-Hyderabad CS?
And I may not get CS in Bits-Pilani so also a comparison between BITS-Pilani EEE and IIIT-Hyderabad CS would be nice.

BITS-Pilani CS is better than IIIT Hyderabad CS (BITS Pilani i at number 6 where IIIT Hyderabad is at 23 as of 2014 engineering colleges of India ranking). Between EEE at BITS Pilani & CS at IIIT, i think you should go for CS at IIIT.

But I was told that the rankings often don’t give a clear picture of the actual standing of the college as they also consider various other criteria such as infrastructure, sports facilities, hostels etc. One of my teachers said that the computer science department of IIIT-Hyderabad is very good and that the college has a poor ranking because the other departments are not so good, for instance, the ECE dept.

If possible, could you compare just the computer departments in both the colleges?
