1 mole H2O = 18 ml
Therefore , 36 ml H2O = 2 mole
Now 1 mole H2O contains 2 mole H and 1mole O
Therefore 2 mole H2O has 4 mole H and 2 mole O
 
Oxygen and hydogen both exist as a diatomic molecule. Therefore ,
No of moles of H2 = 2
And no of moles of O2 is = 1
Total volume = 36ml
Volume of H2 and O2 are in the ratio 2:1
Therefore volume of H2 = 24 ml and
Volume of O2 = 12ml

yes you can as the more you take shortcutyou will be able to solve paper fastly
but you must assume that triangle which satisfies the given relation
dont make any mistake in it
