A trolley is moving on smooth horizontal path with velocity 20 m/sec having mass of 20 kg . At t=0,A bag of 5kg with grain put in it having a hole which drops 0.2 kg/sec grain. What is approx velocity of trolley at t=10 sec.

Since momentum remains conserved.M1v1=m2v2.25*20=23*v.=> v =21.73m/s.Hence final velocity is 21.73m/s.
