I want to know the placement chances of a 28 yr old Mtech grad from iit with a good CPI but no work exp ???

Experience doesnot matter here ... it may sometimes ofcourse

It also depends on your department, depts like CS,EC,EE students gets placed with gud packages

Here there comes your CGPA and your personal ability to face interview.

If your through GD/PI , you can get a gud company....but before that u shld remember one thing...in IITs always B.Tech students dominate M.Tech students . It happens that every company sometimes gives first preference to B.Tech.

But at end of academic year M.tech anyways gets placed ... but it entirely depends on your dept again...

plzz give your dept of interest so that I can give a gud answer.

I think you can't go into a PSU company bcozz , for them age mimit is arnd 25 yrs for general category.

Can u tell me more about why companies prefer Btech grads than Mtech ??

And do PSU companies offer a good pay ??
