how to crack iit?how many hours i have to study daily?
Dear Ved,You didn't mention if you're in 11th or 12th. Nevertheless, I'll try answering your question.
IIT-JEE is an exam based mainly on the most of the syllabus covered in 11th and 12th standard. It's highly conceptual. THe key to crack IIT is to understand and grasp these concepts deeply and clearly and then practice a lot of problems to get a good hold of the same.
No. of hours to study is purely subjective. Although, it's recommended that one should study about 3-4 hours apart from coaching & school. If you don't go to any coaching, try making it a 6-7 hours of self study period.
There is no sure shot way of cracking IIT. But with proper guidance and sincerity and hard work, it can definitely be done.
