sir i want to know sir that the real time of preparation for iit jee is during class xi and class xii or not.sir whether one cannot produce good rank after class xii by dropping or not.

You can get a ggod rank even aa a fresher ( +2) if u have right kind of preparation. But not all studnets can make it in their first attempt.

So its not bad if u drop one year in my view as most of the students in are 1 year droppers.

dont worry about it, prepare well for iit and if u cant make it in your first attemopt and if u r so desparate abt getting into iit go for 2nd attempt.
