Question

Sir I am a good student not exceptionally talented. Not gifted IQ.Cracking Jee seems too difficult to me. Also what is hardwork as I do work hard. I read theory,solve many questions but still dnt get good marks in my practice tests. Am I working hard the wrong way?. I have good IQ and work hard but I am not doing well in practice exams for JEE. I mess up multicorrect questions and am not good in maths. Plz help. I am unable to utilize time effectively

for jee exam most important factors are speed and accuracy.don’t be in hurry,think twice before marking any answer.Just refer to some standard books and once concepts are clear in your mind, start to practice problems based on that concept.
Don’t be panic while solving your paper, first filter out all easy and average problems for you and answer them . After solving all of them take a break of 1 min and then look at all remaining problems.

Are core branches(Mechanical) in Top 3 NIT worth it ?

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
