Sir, My AIR rank is 2017 in jee mains. I got seat in NIT Suratkal Cse. But I want ECE to be completed. Please suggest me about branch sliding and changing after second semister. Please give me reply

It is dependent upon the branch in which you are appearing and the college also.Once you take admission you can contact the officials for branch change

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
