I have got 8.22 as CGPA after 2nd semester( All subjects cleared in first attempt)

Please tell me whether I am eligible for branch change. I am with 5 year dual degree course(IIT Kgp)

Every college has different branch change rules and regulations. Go thru the IIT kgp website to get the clear picture

I guess you can get a better answer at the official weblink of IIT Kg and if you are not satisfied with whatever has been allotted to you then you may try at some other highly reputed institutions like – Kamla Nehru Inst of Tech, Sultanpur,...................Shiv Nadar Uni, Dadri,................................Lovely Professional Uni, Phagwara,.............................MBM College of Engg, Jodhpur

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
