Dear student,
Mechanical + MBA is a good option. Interviews are just qualifying interviews where they will ask you basic questions related to yourself you future plans and how you are perfect fit in their college.
Average packages will obviously be higher because you will also have a MBA degree

Amity uni has earned a very good image but still it is advisable that you must choose certain high profile institutions to compare and contrast and finally get a comprehensive report to help you make a right choice, you may consider these – Nirma Uni, Ahmedabad,..............Lovely Professional Uni, Phagwara,..................BITS Pilani,...........................Jadavpur uni, Kolkata
