In many cases we take velocity nd displacement 2 b negtive..bt how is it practicaly posible 4 velocity 2 b negtive?

u must chose a direction +tive and stick to that throughout the sum...
in the case mentioned by u the opp dir of displacement and vel. must be +tive

because those are vector quantites
