Hey Sam 94 , i really liked your response and suggestions. Well , i am in Uttar Pradesh studying in I.C.S.E. affiliated school. My results are - 6th : Percentage = 81%(Maths 80 , Chem 96 , Phy 98) ; 7th : Percentage = 84%(Maths 77 , Chem 89 , Phy 98) ; 8th : Percentage = 88% ( Maths 81 , Chemistry 97 , Phy 99) . My father is a physics teacher in coachings so i have almost all good physics books for engg and iit-jee at home ( such as DC Pandey , H.C.Verma , I.E.Irodov, Mukherjee,TMH). I agree that Andhra Pradesh students have a great advantage studying there and that is why i am studying harder but i have no interest in coachings same as IIT Topper 2005 (Piyush Srivastava) who was from my school. So basically which book is the best in Maths as you see that maths is holding me back in the results everytime. I am planning to study - Physics - H.C.Verma and D.C.Pandey ; Chemistry - Inorganic : JD Lee , Organic : Morrison Boyd ( or OP Tandon as u mentioned) , Physical : R.C. Mukherjee ; Maths - RD Sharma , M.L. Khanna or K.C.Sinha( i am in a fix here). I want to mention that i have already completed Physics of class 10th and started of with Physics class 11th Dimensional Analysis and i have problems in Vectors for now as i am not through much with trigonometry so does S.L. Loney provide the basics too? . I have many questions so anyone can answer any or all if u want to because i am in a real fix and need someone to guide me as my father remains out of station most of the time.
