you didnt specify which state you belong to if your +! and+2 maths books are good i would do them repeatedly get to stage were i can answer any question from it.............i am from ap so my board book is quite good for beginners..by doing this your basics will get very strong....and chemistry i dont know how you perform at ur school if it will be helpful i got 91% in ICSE so now i think i could have understood a min if 60%-70% of Wade Singh(organic), Sollomons(organic).....study each chpter as many number of times as possible .make your self notes about what did u ynderstand of topics which seem tricky for you.................for inorganic O.P.tandon and resonance material.physical chem may be optandon,arihant.......make sure you give more importance to mpc, english and this work than other subjects in school......if you can afford u can go to some foundation course but you should be dead serious in going regularly............and read what ever you are being thought in coaching class .if uthink you cant do it then dont because you will be wasting about10 hrs a week there......but if ur a avg or abve avg  student in school anything less than 9.4 in cbse and 85% in icse then you should go for your 11th and 12th board books first to make your foundation strong and then others...............dont rush into problems unless all ur theoritical knowledge is perfect if u do so trust me i am telling u with experience on my side it equivalent to wasting time because you cant answer same problem after a few weeks if you dont read theory perfectly and more importantly remember them........Always remember ""its not about how much you eat , its about how much you digest""............i can help you out more if send all your academic details about your board ..percentages from 6th class and mpc percents from 8th ...........if this is the last time i answer your question i would like to say best of luck always remember you have 2 yrs head start...i think about 20000 students your age r studying for iit with 2 or more headstart so start already.................you only have 4000 good seats for iit byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Since you are in class -9 , you should be concerned to get your fundamentals clear for class -9 and 10 as well. Next you can refer to Pradeep physics and chemistry because they give the concepts in a very lucid way. As far as maths is concerned start practising from NCERT level first then proceed for  KC Sinha.

Hey Sam 94 , i really liked your response and suggestions. Well , i am in Uttar Pradesh studying in I.C.S.E. affiliated school. My results are - 6th : Percentage = 81%(Maths 80 , Chem 96 , Phy 98) ; 7th : Percentage = 84%(Maths 77 , Chem 89 , Phy 98) ; 8th : Percentage = 88% ( Maths 81 , Chemistry 97 , Phy 99) . My father is a physics teacher in coachings so i have almost all good physics books for engg and iit-jee at home ( such as DC Pandey , H.C.Verma , I.E.Irodov, Mukherjee,TMH). I agree that Andhra Pradesh students have a great advantage studying there and that is why i am studying harder but i have no interest in coachings same as IIT Topper 2005 (Piyush Srivastava) who was from my school.  So basically which book is the best in Maths as you see that maths is holding me back in the results everytime. I am planning to study - Physics - H.C.Verma and D.C.Pandey ; Chemistry - Inorganic : JD Lee , Organic : Morrison Boyd ( or OP Tandon as u mentioned) , Physical : R.C. Mukherjee ; Maths - RD Sharma , M.L. Khanna or K.C.Sinha( i am in a fix here). I want to mention that i have already completed Physics of class 10th and started of with Physics class 11th Dimensional Analysis and i have problems in Vectors for now as i am not through much with trigonometry so does S.L. Loney provide the basics too? . I have many questions so anyone can answer any or all if u want to because i am in a real fix and need someone to guide me as my father remains out of station most of the time.
