Different people have different views on which book is suitable for them,it depends upon their capability of understanding. There is no such Best BOOK for IIT. I would Suggest to build your concept from a book having elaborated writing and indepth concepts, and after that try for high level questions based on IIT,and try to solve each question in as many methods possible. none the less i would suggest you to follow first RD Sharma or ML Agarwal and then the topic based books of Arihant.
Regards.
