Resnick and Halliday wrote two books on Physics, one was Fundamentals of Physics, which is updated by Walker but I feel that it’s a very diluted book and not as good compared to the other. The second was Physics for Students of Science and Engineering which was updated by Krane, it’s great for studying Physics as it takes a conceptual approach to the topics

Are core branches(Mechanical) in Top 3 NIT worth it ?

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
