May i want to know concepts of A.P's formulas.

Formula= a+(n-1)d i want to know basic concepts of it. Plzz reply me. Why we use a+ & (n-1) & d?

Its very common we add the first term and he difference od the n-i terms in that which is (n-1)d .Hence in that fashion you will get tn as a+(n-1)d
