yaar mining and petroleum of ism are lot better than other core branches of cse electrical etc...you will get placed in coal indi limited whereas electrical doesent even have 75% placements forget about the package...if you get better colleges like NIT allahabad,trichy,warangal,surathkal,calicut in eee take those
