i want to know if any of the IITs provide any of the courses in biotechnology field? i heard that IIT provide it but with the name of biochemistry.is it true?please tell me about the biotechnology courses in IIT.

Yes there are courses for Biotechnology as well as BioChemistry .There are many IITs that gives you that independence of choosing from a list of courses which will be even amalgamation of both the courses .eg IIT Roorke offers BTech in IIT Roorkee.

Are core branches(Mechanical) in Top 3 NIT worth it ?

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
