If it comes to average package of the batch than it is 11-13 LPA, but when it comes to average student than it goes down to 5-7 LPA.
Simply, the average algorithm doesn't work for average students.

Both the IITs stand atop in regards of pay package....if you are contented, well and good else try visiting some other leading institutions and get to know the pay packages being offered over there and then accordingly make a choice, i suggest these names – Heritage Inst of Tech, Kolkata,............Inderprastha Uni, Delhi,........Lovely Professional Uni, Phagwara,........TKM College of Engg, Kollam
