I HAVE GOT 1463(OBC) RANK IN IIT JEE.MY QUESTION IS THAT SHOULD I PREFER TAKING ADMISSION IN OLD IITS TAKING BRANCHES LIKE METALLURGY,ENGINEERING PHYSICS,PRODUCTION & INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING ,MATH& COMPUTING,MANUFACTURING,QUALITY ENGINEERING,AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING(DUAL),ETC OR I SHOULD GO FOR CORE BRANCHES IN NEW IITS? PL GUIDE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You must go for old IITs because they will only guarantee your placement if you study properly. Make sure you do learn something in your four years and come with job when you pass out of IIT.
