Hello,

i am a mechanical engineering student.doing my 7th semester in a PTU college.My college does not enjoy a premium reputation and i aspire to gain knowledge from the real professors of mech engg ... i am appearing in gate 2010 and plan to take M TECH IN PRODUCTION ENGG at IIT

i am unclear on the subject of placements.

what is the package offerd to m tech students.

and is there any condition to get a foreign reserch allowance if cgp is above 8.0 ...?

Dear Simranjeet singh

Generally package offered to M tech student is 10-20 % more than B Tech student of same branch.

Avg package goes to 6-7 lac per annum in IITs.
