What do you guys think about the new department of engineering science at iit-h?

seems to be inspired for R&D(research and development) mainly,but since engg physics is also getting a good response so this brach will also get good feedback.but nothing very precisely can be said.

I have not been to IIT-H recently so I have no ideas on it.

But I know that IIT-H is a wonderful insititution and if you think that you want Engineering Science there I recommend you to go,take time and visit the college yourself because it is your life and you are gonna study there for the next 4 years.

Suppose i take B.tech engineering science at iit-h and specialize in computer science and engineering after 2.5 years.What will be the difference between me and a student who took B.tech computer science?what is the difference between the kind of research experience he gets and that i get?

P.S my interests are robotics,user experience research,cloud computing etc.,

Not much but you will have gained some additional knowledge and would be well informed about everything .

Since you have interest in robotics,cloud computing etc..I recommend you to go ahead with Engineering Science @ IIT-H .
