which to go in cse in it bhu or bits pilani?

IIT BHU CSE invites really good placements. For instance Facebook hired three with a package of 45 LPA. Microsoft, Google and all the other software giants visit the campus. Get feedback on BITS Pilani CSE. Of course the IIT tag does sometimes matter later on in your career. Talk to as many people as you can and then arrive at a decision. All the best!

Hello dear. Comp science at both the places are equally good. However i would suggest IIT BHU CSE because

1. the recent conversion to IIT would increase the funding. Already labs and infra are of IIT level. after increased funding IIT BHU is bound to touch new heights.

2. The IIT tag is very important. Many foreign universities categorize Indian students as 1. IIT 2. NIT 3. Others. With BITS you might fall into the category of others losing your true worth

3. Attachment of IIT BHU to BHU opens many other options for you. Like you can get a diploma degree in foreign languages or photography while other institutes (including IITs) just offer hobby clubs and dont offer degrees.

4. Varanasi is a far better place than Pilani. You are not going to bury yourself in books for 4 years.

B.Tech and Dual Degree courses both are equally good at IIT BHU. You may surely opt for them. Other high priority options can be Electrical or Electronics at BHU which are also circuit branches.
