there are various reference books available for preparing for IIT-JEE. You can refer consice "J.D Lee Concise inorganic chemistry for IIT-JEE" written by Sudarshan Guha, "Concept Of Physics Vol 1 and 2" written by "H.C. Verma".

first of all - good luck for ur ambitions and its very good that u are consious about JEE at this time ...there is nothing which can be as such called basic ..if u do like that u will be wasting time and energy...while solving questions in JEE u only need basic concept u dont nedd high level concepts of that subject...more for books..

first of u should decide which are ur fav subject if u try to excel in all subject that would be tough and accordingly start prep.

HC verma  for physics ( a must have book for basics) that after reading a particular topic in that u can also consult DC PANDEY (arihant) for solving some of good examples.

for physical chemistry first read NCERTs and then move on to OP Tandon (good for theory ).

for maths u can consult R.D SHARMA at initial stage ...than move to Bansal maths sheats( really they are important )( must )..thanks
