my councelling if vit is on 14th may and my rank is 6400 in it i am not getting should i attend it or not because as we are going to pay there 30000 Rs they wont return that afterwards as if i dont want to get in it also because i can get nit als0

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
