gave iit2012 not qualifying expecting in eml .i had joined aakash institute .not dropping but joining any nit & want to carry on preparation.for this i have enrolled with resonance dlp &its aits which i think possible in 1 year.made my rough stratergy upto dec 2012 but need some valuable guidance. help me.

I had dropped the year and preperatioin was smooth and understood the concepts better than earlier. Joining a good NIT is better that dropping. But you will have to manage the two very effeciently. As far as i know most of the matter that you study is pretty same as 11th and 12th in 1st semester, but preparing for an exam like IIT is very much different from studying for college exams. 

And you must remember that the complete pattern for enterance exams is now going to change(if ISEET is applyed to the IITs). As expected till now, you gotta have gud boards result and prepare for logical and reasoning abilities. All this depends on what the ministry does.

I am really happy that you decided not to drop a year and go for B.Tech courses in NITs ..

This is a very good choice and Im sure that you can give valuable time for your IT-JEE Preparation because the 1st year portions in Engineering are more or less close to the IIT-JEE syllabus and hence you can easilly prepare for IIT-JEE and do your regular Engineering course without any difficulty .
