Hello sir....I appeared for GATE 2011 and got a ranking of 10424 with score 406 in EC branch. But in GATE 2012 i didnt get a good ranking. Now with my 2011 ranking can i try for NITs or try for new some IITs that has been started since 2008,or shall i apply for for some local good colleges in our state karnataka itself..and more over I dont have an aggregate of 60% or first class in BE and i belong to general merit quota, no reservation...Plz guide me... THANK YOU..

no dude.. if u want admissions this year your 2011 rank wont be of any use..

The GATE score is valid for 2 years and i ve score card also. Its validity is till 2013 march 14.....In our state GATE qualified students will get first preferance in counselling over others....
