Hi Anmol,

In which year, you are giving your IIT?

If you are targeting 2012 then please focus on all your doubts and speed buliding

If you are targeting 2013 for your IIT then please clear all your baisics first and touch each chapter according to syllabus

And then start practice more and more

Hi Anmol,

As you've already said you have FIITJEE RSM, that would be best place to start with reading theory.

For other books

Maths:

ML Khanna

Physics:

HC Verma, IE Irodov

Chemistry:

Organic - Morisson and Boyd

Inorganic - OP Tandon (A must)

Physical - Any standard book like OP Agarwal / P Bahadur / Arihant Physical Chemsitry (One of those)

RSM is definitely a good source of both problems and theory (So this is a must in any case).

Regards,

Ashwin (IIT Madras).

if you are preparing for the IITJEE 2012,you should strengthen your strong areas, build up your speed and try not to do silly mistakes because your 1 mark down would drop your rank to about 200-300 below.

If you are preparing for IITJEE 2013,your should study each and every chapter thoroughly and strengthen your concepts and practice to apply the concepts in each question correctly as quick as you can and be persistent.

The following books would be useful for you:

For Chemistry:

Organic:Morisson & Boyd,Paula Yurkanis Bruice

Inorganic:NCERT,JD Lee,OP Tandon

Physical:OP Tandon,book authored by K.Rama Rao

For Maths:Arihant series books,ML Khanna

For Physics:HC Verma,Resnick Halliday

Hope this works.
