Hi Smitha,
In case of Banking of Roads, there's a component of the weight of the vehicle that provides the necessary centripetal force, along with the frictional force. So this provides a greater centripetal force, that on non-banked roads. So that means greater velocity than on level roads.
Hope that helps.
Best Regards,
Ashwin (IIT Madras).
