which b tech (mech or elec) course would be best in the present scenario for robotics as m tech course and whether robotics has future in india?

a robot is essentially a machine. Mech would be better. Robots are used in the manufacturing sector, whereas India, till recently was a services hub. Even though the manufacturing sector is small, it is growing rapidly.

Are core branches(Mechanical) in Top 3 NIT worth it ?

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
