what are the job prospects after doing the 4 year BS program at IISc?

This BS program is not same as any engg degree? right?

But I saw topp IIT rankers, and top AIEEE rankers opted for BS program. Also the top KVPY stundents opetd for BS program. (this as per the IISc wbe site data)

Can a BS program grad command a salary like a CS grad from IIT or NSIT or DCE etc?

Yes ofcourse !

BS @ IISc can offer you those high packages but you have to prove your mettle before grabbing that !

Yeah it is true that a lot students even top rankers in JEE & AIEEE have opted for BS @ IISc ...

The first reason is beacause the Central Government offers them 0.80 Lakhs per annum till the completion of PG courses under the INSPIRE Scholarship scheme !

The Second is because Science is back on track in India !!

So the best thing to do if you opt for a BS Program @ IISc is to give your best for 4 years & reap rewqards !
