if u belong to delhi then you may get electricalor IT at end of last counselling.

if u belong to outside delhi cateogary then best branch will be software engg.

If u belongs to Delhi, u will get at Electrical by 3rd list at DTU. I suggest you to just join whatever branch u get in 2nd list. Be sure by December u will be updated to Mechanical or even ECE

I request all candidates who had not get admission in 1st list at DTU, just go at www.dtuadmissions.nic.in, and check the list of seats vacant after 1st round. You will be pleassantly shocked that about 50% of the total seats are still vacant. Most surprising is that 48 out of total 54 seats of Delhi general category in CSE are vacant. Just chill u guys, 2nd list cutt off at DTU would be around 16000 and Delhi General Candidates with about 4250 raks would be getting CSE in 2nd list itself
