I am currently prsuing M.E in electrical engg(control sys) from Jadavpur university based on my Gate Rank2010.I reappered in Gate11 got an offer From IIT KGP to study Control Sys.I am interested to do a job rather than a Ph.D.For Campus Recruitment which one should i prefer JU or IIt KGP??will it be advantageous to waste one year for KGP or stick to JU?hw are the placements for m.tech in both the colleges?

Go forIIT KGP .A good college gives you an edge and afterwards you can go for jobs

Are core branches(Mechanical) in Top 3 NIT worth it ?

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
